Festival Orchestra Week

An Exceptional Ensemble for a Special Season!

Each year, Arizona Musicfest assembles some of the nation’s finest orchestral musicians to perform as the Festival Orchestra—the jewel in Musicfest’s crown.  Under the direction of Music Director Robert Moody, the Orchestra typically performs five distinct concert programs in one week.  Because of these unprecedented times, for the 2021 Festival Orchestra Week, an exceptional ensemble comprised of top Festival Orchestra players will perform a reduced number of concert programs, with two of the popular programs offered twice.

At the heart of Arizona Musicfest’s three decade-long history is a commitment to celebrating classical music.  As we honor our anniversary, join us as our special Festival Orchestra ensemble celebrates the great classical masters in three creative and exciting concert programs.
