February 7 & 14

Tuesdays | 10:00 - 11:30am

Join us for our listening group for pieces from the orchestral canon!

We’ll spend the first half of February working our way through Tchaikovsky’s breathtaking First Piano Concerto.  We’ll pause at intervals throughout the piece to discuss what we hear, what we notice, and where we think the piece is going as we make our way through!

Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 in B♭ minor, Op. 23

Premiere:  October 25, 1875 | Boston | Benjamin Johnson Lang, conductor | Hans von Bülow, soloist
