Celebrating the Great American Songbook

Join pianist Nicole Pesce as she takes us on a tour of the Great American Songbook, sampling songs from George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, and Jerome Kern. These 75-minute “informances” will include both traditional and rearranged versions of classics such as “I’ve Got Rhythm,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” “Yesterdays,” and “Blue Skys.” Each session will focus on one of the composers listed above, will include performances of a wide range of tunes from the featured composer, and will include opportunity for Q&A from the audience.
