April 18 & 25

Tuesdays | 10:00 - 11:30am

Join us for our listening group for pieces from the orchestral canon!

We’ll begin our Spring & Summer of American Symphonic Music with William Grant Still’s bluesy & folksy first symphony “Afro-American”.  We’ll pause at intervals throughout the piece to discuss what we hear, what we notice, and where we think the piece is going as we make our way through!

William Grant Still: Symphony No.1 in A-flat Major, “Afro-American”
