Festival Orchestra Week kicks off with a centennial celebration of one of today’s most recognized classical compositions, Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. Joining the Orchestra to perform this iconic Jazz Age masterpiece is the acclaimed Marcus Roberts Trio, offering an innovative and entertaining approach to the beloved work. Maestro Robert Moody and the Orchestra complement the jazz-inspired Rhapsody with My Homeland by Dvořák and the ebullient Le Tombeau de Couperin of Ravel.

Enhance your experience by attending the Pre-Concert Talk by Joshua Condon, Director of Community Music Programs / Resident Artist from 12:45-1:15pm in the Sanctuary, where the concert will be performed.
