Our November documentary explores the man behind the music of our upcoming concert with John Pizzarelli.

Take an in-depth look at the life and talent of the trailblazing musician who conquered racial barriers to leave an indelible mark on the jazz world. Director Jon Brewer’s documentary is the final testimony on the tremulous life of the musical legend who was also a beacon of hope to blacks across 1950s America. Hear for the first time “Magic Window” and “What to Do,” the amazing previously-unreleased tracks sung by Nat King Cole found in the vaults of the Capitol building in Hollywood.

While not required, we request attendees to RSVP to help us know the number of chairs to set up.

Please contact Ben Baer, Manager of Education, Youth Performance, and Community Programming at with any questions.
