January 3 & 10
Tuesdays | 10:00 - 11:30am
Join us for our listening group for pieces from the orchestral canon!
We’ll spend the first half of January working our way through Mendelssohn’s exhilirating Violin Concerto. We’ll pause at intervals throughout the piece to discuss what we hear, what we notice, and where we think the piece is going as we make our way through!
Felix Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto in E minor, Op. 64
Premiere: March 13, 1845 | Niels Gade, Leipzig (Ferdinand David, soloist)
