New Arizona Musicfest concert series:
Presented by Arizona Musicfest in partnership with Steinway & Sons, The Young Performers Recital Series debuted in the 2009-2010 season with concerts on November 7, January 9 and April 24, open to the public free of charge. Each concert had its own uniquely beautiful artistic personality and was an enjoyable, inspiring experience featuring some of the Valley’s most talented and dedicated young musicians.
“Arizona Musicfest is passionate about extending performance opportunities to accomplished young musicians,” said Andrea Terhune, Chairman of The Young Performers Recital Series at Steinway Hall. “The commitment to ‘Tomorrow’s Stars Today’ is taken very seriously.”
The Young Performers Recital Series at Steinway Hall concerts were 45 minutes to an hour in length, followed by a Meet the Musicians reception so that fellow music aficionados of all ages were able to ask questions, discuss the program or chat about their various musical experience. Steinway Hall is located at 14418 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 183, Scottsdale, 85254 (on the SW corner of the Scottsdale Rd. / Acoma Dr. intersection).
